I've done two popping and jigging trips with them and have had an excellent experience. Andaman angler has the best marks for both jigging and popping in the Andamans and they try their best to put you on to your dream fish. The boat is well maintained and fast. The deck is ideal for popping. Akshay, the operator is also an excellent photographer which is an added bonus! Will surely return the next year to fish with them.

We recently had a 6 day sport fishing trip with Andaman Anglers. With Akshay leading us, it rained fishes for the entire 6 days and we were extremely satisfied & also tired [literally] by fighting fish after fish after fish, which is only possible with an experienced captain and knowing the fishing grounds. They make custom trips depending on the team size / time and they take care of everything down to the micro details, so that we can absolutely concentrate on fishing and nothing else. The boat “royalcraft" is pretty long, for at least 4 anglers to cast at the same time comfortably. The boat has high speed twin engines to reach the spots in less time and very importantly, safety standards & cleanliness are highly maintained all the time. The stay & food is amazing in Port Blair / Havelock [depending on the trip plan] and its a good place close to the jetty for commute. There is also an associated tackle shop near the stay place and can refill supplies as required, which we did after the 2nd day. If anyone is looking for some serious sport fishing, my humble suggestion would be to go only with an experienced captain and Akshay [Andaman Anglers] definitely stays on the top spot among the other charters. I’ll soon be taking my family for a trip to give them the amazing experience that I had. We took our entire tackle set from the main land based on our target fishes and Akshay helped us with all the queries related to tackle choices. Every true angler should experience sport fishing in Andaman, at least once in their life time, practice catch & release, be thankful to nature and maintain the amazing reef ecosystem for our children and great grand children.

Akshay and Nargis run this Angling holidays, excellent hospitality and fishing experience in Andamans. Andaman angler crew know the exact fishing spots to fish for GTs, Wahoo, Groupers, sail etc.,. I was there this week and I had a ball of experience fishing in those waters. We ended up catching roughly about 50 plus fishes in 3 sessions. Anyone interested in sport fishing do get in touch with Andaman Anglers. The best angling experience one can get. Looking forward to my next trip.
I had the pleasure of being hosted by the Andaman Angler for a fun filled and super productive 3 days of sport fishing in some pristine locations across the Andamans. The stay was extremely comfortable and convenient as their office, boat access and the accommodation are all a short walk from each other. Akshay, the man behind the show, has a state of the art boat which is safe and well equipped with all that one needs to make productive sessions of fishing. Having been in the Andamans for several years, he has a wealth of knowledge about the topography of the area which is a great help. Being a passionate angler himself, he has deep knowledge of some of the finer angling techniques which he generously shares with all in order to make the fishing productive. He and his charming wife Nargis run a really nice set up and I would recommend their outfit for anyone looking for a great fishing trip in the Andamans !!
