Always went by this moto when I travel - it's not the facilities at a place that matter most, but it's how they treat you at that place is what matters. Sunnyvale Andaman is prime example for that. First of all it isn't a hotel but a home stay..and wonderful one it is. They have well maintained rooms with all required facilities. A common kitchen area is there where you can have little snack if you want. The refrigerator is stocked with all basic needs like milk and butter. For travelers you need not worry at all..as Mr Nasir, the owner manages it quite well. All you queries regarding travel, timings of boats, places to see, dos and don'ts, arrange taxis etc he will help you out. We visited Sunnyvale as stopover for our journey to resort. But had the mistake of not booking it on way back. Anyone visiting Port Blair, this place is best place for staying.

Undoubtedly the best stay I could find for my four nights stay in Port Blair. It's a well maintained homestay and Mr. Nasir, who's the owner of the property is a call away to assist you in person.

Firstly Thank You to Google reviews that I found this place..its hard to find hotels which can cater to the demands of your infants and that's why I chose this place after reading the reviews. As said about the place a simple, calm and cosy place located on the second floor at the center of the city with spacious rooms with all essential amenities. The best part about staying at Sunnyvale is the owner Mr. Nasir Hussain & care taker Hassan, excellent customer service also guidance on the journey ahead as one starts from Port Blair. Mr. Nasir will help you out in just about everything from Booking your Ferry Tickets to your hotels to making your Travel Itinerary at a very nominal cost ...trust me I did my research in terms of costing. You will see a lot of foreigners coming to this home stay. I specifically recommend this place for families with kids as a small kitchen outside the room allows you to meet your kids requirements such as milk, warm water etc. as a plus you can ask Hassan for anything and he'll bring it to you. He will arrange local transportation for you auto or taxi on request and the rates are fixed and justified with no bargaining or haggling with the drivers. Even the Restaurant that they suggested had excellent vegetarian & Non veg food with Phulka's ... Breakfast is provided by them which is a simple Bread Omelette with Butter, Jam, Tea & Coffee. (Probably this aspect can be improved with a couple of more options) ..Overall an excellent Place !! All the Best Mr. Hussain !!

Sunnyvale is not a hotel, but a homestay - so set your expectations accordingly. Mr Nasir - the host - is a friendly and helpful person. Before our visit, we reached out to him to clarify our Andaman travel queries (which were not answered on the Internet) and he clarified them patiently. Rooms - Sunnyvale is a multistorey bungalow with a few individual rooms located on the second floor. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. All the basic needs like water, geyser, AC and most importantly WiFi - are taken care of. They even have a common kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, induction and water purifier. So people with kids would find these facilities beneficial as compared to other commercial hotels. Location - The property is 10-15 mins walk from Aberdeen bazaar where you would find good restaurants and shops. There are a couple of restaurants that deliver food to the property as well. Overall, I would recommend Sunnyvale homestay as it covers your basics very well and in budget.

Sunnyvale Andaman ended up being the last place where I stayed during my trip. It's more of a homestay with a separate room, like an Airbnb than a hotel. The hotel is owned and run by Mr. Nasir Hussain. He was very courteous and friendly at the time of check-in. The rooms are on the second floor of the building. One of their staff helped me with the luggage. My booking was for a deluxe room. The room was neat and tidy. I found the room to be quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable. My sleep quality was so good. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, and it's faster than what I expected it would be in the Andamans. Their Wi-Fi helped me connect with my family who didn't hear from me due to the poor network since I reached the Andamans. The bathroom was clean, and it had some shiny branded faucets. The bathroom had a bar of soap and some liquid hand soap for toiletries. The room had some basic furniture and a big cupboard for storage. There were hangers available in the closet as well. There's not much of view from the room, but it looked green with a lot of trees. I needed a scooty, and Mr. Hussain connected me with the respective people. My booking included complimentary breakfast at their dining area. It comprised of toasted bread, jam and some black tea. You could also request for an omelet if you wanted one. Given its prime location, it was very convenient for me to visit some attractions like Marina Park, Aberdeen Bazaar that was closeby. Cellular Jail is close to this hotel as well. Even though there was traffic on the road, there was no noise in the room. I didn't have any issues during my stay. I had a pleasant and convenient stay at this hotel. This hotel made my last day at Port Blair delightful. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a comfortable room with basic amenities. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Good homestay. They have 5 rooms in total. Rooms are big and clean. Washroom is clean & have 24hrs hot water. Owner is co operative. He arrange bike for us . There are not much restaurant near homestay. They have menucard in room from where u can order or u can ask for caretaker. He make tea and breakfast. Market is around 1km from here. Over all we enjoyed our stay here. Special note : we got really fast WiFi here which is very rare in Andaman

This is not a hotel but a home stay. Pros: 1. Location is near airport, market(for eating) and cellular Jail/museum 2. Provide kitchen services for making tea/boiled water in hot plate and microwave 3. On call services for transport, bike and other tickets 4. Clean and spacious rooms Cons: No restaurant inside Not very active in providing room essential like towels/bedsheets/bathroom stuff Overall: A very decent stay and worth 1500Rs per day.
