One of the decent park that reflects the blood and sweat shed by the Indian freedom fighters and their efforts and contribution are embodied in form of statue to pay tribute. . . One can view the beauty of nature which is the sea and greenery through this park which make it more attractive.

Right outside the Cellular Jail you can visit Veer Savarkar park. I recommend going to the cellular jail and if possible see the Light and Sound show before entering the park. In the cellular jail, you get a lot of details regarding the life of Veer Savarkar inside the cellular jail. Inside there is enough space to sit and rest. There are some park amenities for children. Recommended
A nice little park opposite the Cellular Jail in Port Blair. Showcases historical personalities and the sacrifices they made during the freedom struggle. Neatly maintained. Good for kids. They have constructed statues of prominent personalities like Veer Savarkar and have given plaques with information. Truly inspiring. Must visit...
Infront of the Jail, there is Veer Savarkar park where you can find the statues of some notable freedom fighters and spend rest of your evening. This place is great if you want to sit and relax for some time. Many local sellers sell water bottles, Coconut water here also. You can get a complete view of the Cellular jail from this park too. Great place for taking photographs.

A small beautiful park located right opposite to Cellular Jail. This park is dedicated as a memorial for the patriots who were locked up in the Cellular Jail. This park has the statues of freedom fighters who lost their life during their imprisonment in the jail. It also has inscriptions about the freedom fighters below their statues, those stories were very inspiring. During night this park is well lit and has a breathtaking view of Aberdeen Jetty Point. This is a open park has no entry fees.
