So good. First time eating at a Caribbean restaurant the lady was so nice and let us try different things so we knew what to order. Very happy and full from lunch!

Had not had Caribbean food before, always thought it wouldn't be to hot. Staff pared a small sample, it was a little hot but the flavor was amazing. This was the first time I had goat meat which was nothing like I expected it it had a milder flavor than I thought it would and the oxtail was beyond delicious. If you can take just a little heat I highly recommend this place.
I've visited the Port Charlotte Golden Krust restaurant three times now and they were very good experiences. I spoke with Beverly on my first time there and she was very helpful and patient as I asked her many questions about their food and she answered them all for me. On my second visit I came with a friend and we met Michelle who was a very nice and told us more about her family's restaurant and we sampled a few different meats so we knew what we wanted to order. The food is delicious! So, for my third visit, I brought my husband with me and he liked the food very much, too. All together we've tried Ox Tail, Curried Chicken, Curried Goat, Jerk Chicken, Stewed Chicken (they were all tender and very tasty/flavorful) along with rice/peas and plantain. We've also ordered the Spicy Beef Patty, Mild Beef Patty, Vegetable Patty and Spinach Patty - yummy!
A True Caribbean meal. Food is made with love. Must go if looking for a great tasting meal.
When you're tired of the same old same old this place will delight. Try the cow foot soup and spicy meat patty. The oxtail is also very good. Super friendly staff and owner makes sure everyone is taken care of.
