Went to inquire about a bike for sale on Facebook marketplace. Turns out they sold it over a year ago, but left the listing up. They moved, and left no new address, and never answered phone when I called. When I found the place, they tried to get me to buy a 1500cc Harley, when all I had asked for was a bobber in the 650cc range. Harley was a mess for the 5000 they wanted. Needless to say, I walked..shady shop, no doubt. The bike they claimed they sold a year ago, was apart in the corner with a different front fork assembly..avoid this place at all cost. They want your money, and nothing more. Got the bike i wanted somewhere else, from an honest seller.

Madmans custom cycles is dishonest about everything they do. I spent 2000 at this shop and all the work has to be done again. Major ripoff.
My bike went into his shop with a brand new lithium battery. 300 bucks from Trev Dealy. When I got the bike back there was an old used battery in place of mine. My 09 nightster originally went in for new fender struts, re mount the back fender and lights. Licence plate bracket and tank emblems were also a part of the job. I had to pay for those myself in the end or they would never have gotten done. Jon estimated the job to be 1500 in the beginning witch changed to 2 grand in the end. The back fender wasn't even mounted straight. The welds look like a 12 year olds work. All the work has to be re done at a real bike shop. Not impressed. I feel completely ripped off in the end. Stay away from Jon Armstrong and Madmans custom chop shop!!!!
Terrible experience. Hopping to have my bike ready for summer and excuse after excuse. They took my money and did nothing. When I went back to get my bike he refused to give me back the money. Sad experience. Save yourself the trouble move on to someone that will get the job done.
Thanks to Jon he had a part for my old bike that no one else had.. he did save my summer ride tnx !
