DO NOT RECOMMEND! HIGH PRICES FOR AVERAGE SERVICE! We moved to Port Coquitlam and were looking a good vet clinic for our dog and cat. This time we needed to make early vaccination (Leptospirosis) for our dog. The clinic staff was friendly, however, we were shocked when they show us the bill. We paid 80.50 CAD only for “Wellness Exam/Consultation”! They didn’t even weight our dog!

Got my kitten vaccinated and spayed there, overall I'm happy with their service, the doctor called me right after the surgery and explained everything in detail, I found them respectful and supportive, the incision was very small and healed very well . Not sure about the price as they were my first option ,but it seemed pretty reasonable to me We will definitely go back :) Photo of my kitty post surgery :)

Was willing to pay the high prices for this \premium\ vet because I saw the value in the care they gave to my cat.. no more. Completely disrespected and invalidated me the last time I tried to take my new kitten in. Was ready for vaccinations, microchip, wellness exam, and they shoved me out the door for an appointment that had shown up EARLY. Kerry, the office manager, then followed me out to my car to continue berating me for being so upset at the abysmal lack of respect or kindness they were showing me. She felt it was okay to approach me before I had my mask on, open my car door HERSELF, and pat me on the shoulder - during a pandemic. How is that appropriate AT ALL? Will not be back. Good care for your critters (if you're willing to pay the high prices) but if you want to be respected and treated like a human, go elsewhere.

LIkely the best animal hospital in the Lower Mainland! The vets and staff here truly care about your animals' well being. Being a volunteer at a local dog rescue myself, I only look for the best clinic for my 3 dogs. Ollie recently was diagnosed with Addison's Disease and now with unexplained rises in liver enzymes. The vets always explain everything so clearly and are passionate and considerate. A referral to CanWest was sent right away. Even with the complexity of the situation, they still advise the best care plan for Ollie. We will keep coming back to PoCo Animal Hospital even though we need to travel a bit further for the best care to our dogs.

The Port Coquitlam Animal hospital is so thoughtful and compassionate. I really felt the need to leave a review. Our first ever experience we had with them was so pleasant. Our beloved 14 y/o maltipoo Toby passed away a few days ago. My husband brought Toby to the Port Coquitlam Animal hospital to confirm his passing. They were so helpful with the next step we needed to take and receiving this great service was so needed on that difficult day. Today we received a thoughtful card in the mail from them, it was such a heartfelt gesture. The last few days since Toby’s passing has been extremely difficult for us, to receive this card in the mail was a nice surprise and it means so much to us! Thank you to all the doctors and staff at the Port Coquitlam Animal hospital.
