Awesome place to take the family on a Sunday for a day out and having a braai. You can fish in the lagoon or swim if you're brave. Great hikes through wooded areas. If you're lucky you might even see the fish eagle pair that reside in the reserve next to the lagoon. Camping is unfortunately not allowed. When stopped by the rangers, R15 for adults and R10 for kids.

Beautiful, calm and extremely quite. The Nature Reserve however needs more people to visit. I love going fishing with my bf but if we all alone, we leave because we feel unsafe being the only ones.

Great place for a family outing to enjoy the outdoors for the day the fishing though not as enjoyable as the outing itself with friends and family

The beach is secluded, if you go early in the morning your able to pick up beautiful shells. Theres n salt water tide pool, and some great spots to snorkel. there is n fantastic little fishing spot that’s really affordable, for young and old alike. And the real hidden gem is the nudist beach
