Terrible beds with barely washed bedding.. some rooms are worse than others. Company booked the entire motel so was able to hear about most of the room conditions. There is AC and basic amenities.. weird smells in most rooms like a musky smell. You wont regret spending a little more to stay elsewhere but if you have to stay here you will get through it. Rooms should cost like 70 dollars max here it isn't worth any more than that.

Not too happy with this place. All in all was almost 300 dollars for 2 nights with cot and taxes. Booked through Hotels.com and says pet friendly. Owner comes up to us says no pets in all of Motel. Showed him Hotels.com an then says it's in the back only. Wants to charge us more when checkout but will not tell us how much until then. Will never stay here again.

Unlike the motel we stayed in for two days prior to this, I can’t give this hotel a lower rating. It has been allowed to become extremely run down and seems to be managed by an ambivalent manager. Everything could use some work in this motel. The worst part was that there was literally no heat in the room when we arrived, and it was freezing outside. We did have control of the heat ourselves and turned the heat on high and left to go to a restaurant. However, when we came back three hours later the room was barely warmer. We slept wrapped up in clothing and by morning, the room was slightly acceptable. I had a feeling I was going to run into this kind of thing when I called to book a reservation and spoke with the owner/manager. I had already checked trivago and knew they were offering the room for 75 for a double room (two double beds). Sometimes if you speak to the owner they can give you a better deal, for instance, if you are a senior, or have CAA, or an institutional affiliation. However, when I spoke with this man, he said the best he could do was 79 for a single room and 89 for the double I was looking at. I told him I found the double listed for 75 on trivago. He said lots of people claim they find lower prices but that isn’t true. I told him I wasn’t going to pay more than what I could book it for online. I probably should have walked away at this point, but out of spite, I booked it online anyhow and got the double room for 75. When I arrived and showed him my receipt, he very reluctantly gave me the room. The sign of things to come.

HORRIBLE!! We didn't end up staying. We were given an interior room but told we would be locked in until 6am. No leaving the motel, no access to our car. A room that you could only stand up on one side because of the roofline. Nope...got our money back and left. I would never stay here and certainly would not recommend to anyone else. I only gave it one star because I couldn't post without a rating!!

Great prices, maybe the upstairs better than down, never had chance to walkabout, but Excellent layover for the price for entering CB or overnight for leaving.

Our door would not lock from the outside so we had to take our belongings with us every time we left the room. The wifi did not work and the shower leaked. Complimentary coffee existed for one night but not two or three. If you are looking for just a bed to sleep in then its fine.

I booked online. My online quote and reservation werent honnered. Paid more. The Skye Lodge could not find my booking in their system even though I had a confirmation email. Rooms said they had microwaves (cause I was hopinh to eat) but to no luck. That was ruff. The description wasnt overly accurate. On a good note free Wi-Fi worked great. Strong smell in the room. Not sure from what. Slept with window open in late September therefor became chilly. Shower curtain should be replaced. There was a hair quite visible in the bathtub upon checking in. I don't think I'll be using the coffee maker provided. Needs a good scrubb. I'm easy going so I dont want to seem whinny. I slept, was a late check in for me so it did the trick. Place has potential with upgrades. Its a room to come and crash but descriptions for future travels should be made more clear. I didnt think I could deal with the unknown smell still not sure what it is. I would pay 80.00 if that was an option. I think thats a much reasonable deal with taxes in. Maybe housekeeping could just made a little bigger effort even though I'm sure they do work hard. Mirrors had streaked on it and not all lightbulbs worked. I just could not imagine using that dirty coffee machine thats just wrong. Minor improvements could make a nice warmer feeling room difference. For the false room features online on the booking site I would have liked a discount from what I paid. But whish them all the best in the future.
