Fantastic experience. Tiny restaurant with only 4 tables during our visit (thanks to coronavirus) but a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. Only a set menu available, but that made the experience better as it just meant the food served was based around what had been freshly caught. There was a good variety of dishes, and the whole experience was more relaxed and casual than your typical Michelin-starred dining experience. Access into Port Isaac is on foot via a relatively steep hill, so be warned. It is quite picturesque though...

Such a fantastic place. The building is quirky and great. The food! It was amazing, all fish courses except for a baked cheesecake and a bottle of wine. I would definitely come back to this place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recomend it.

Very relaxing atmosphere away from the busy village streets. The service was impeccable - we didn't have to ask for anything - and the food was amazing. Rare to find somewhere that cooks 'simple' food so perfectly! Finishing with such a well made coffee too really made it both a fantastic meal and an unforgettable experience.

We have been lucky enough to come here many times. Every time the food just seems to evolve and get better with subtle changes. The food here is the best sea food I have ever had complimented by the excellent wine, and superb sevice could not be better. First class . Thank you

We were excited to come here after having a fantastic experience at one of Nathan Outlaw’s restaurants in London. The building itself is absolutely brilliant, just like the town of Port Isaac. It’s tiny and beautiful. We came in the great COVID pandemic of 2020 which meant there were only four tables and the staff wore visors, but they still were friendly and smiley, and spoke loud enough to hear through the PPE. Every course from the set menu was well presented and brilliantly executed, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The main course of classic ‘scampi and chips’ had some fantastic twists (it was lobster with a chilli jam and chips with a garlic and herb mayo) that all came together perfectly. On top of everything the waiter served my mums dessert of heavenly baked cheesecake with a little candle in it for her birthday which made her smile. Cannot recommend enough.
