We are fairly local to the area and decided to visit The Edge for dinner one evening. We were unfortunately very disappointed with the quality of food, the fish which they market as locally caught (Sole) tasted bland & overcooked. We also had crab soup to start which was absolutely terrible!! Tasted like something out of a tin and the taste was overpowering. It left the taste of fish in my mouth for hours after our meal. The view & service however was good and so was the wine. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. Overpriced with poor quality food

Stopped at The Edge in Port Isaac whilst walking Cornwall coastal path from Tintagel. The restaurant is by the footpath and it was the ideal stopping place on a windy muddy day. We had a lunch snack which was ideal with local beer and best coffee we have had for a while.
The staff very polite cocktails lovely food was very nice i took them as i found them on the day and not taking other reviews in to acount as were all diffrent as are the expectations, the one thing i would say is the windows up stairs need a good clean as do the window seals there full of cobwebs dead flys ect ubove all we enjoyd are food and the staff banter well done.
