Sorry to say but definitely quantity over quality today, overcooked fish and very undercooked chips, booked a slot and didn't mind waiting for 20 plus minutes in the rain because the food is usually the best. There were many other people waiting so maybe bit off more than they could chew.

Just had to sit in our car. We ordered ahead with a time slot, really friendly staff, great service...with a smile. Beautiful fish n chips, mine was only a normal size but they do large . Thumbs up from me .

Forget going to Rick Stein for fish and chips, this is the place to be. The fish and chips was amazing, the batter was golden brown and cooked perfectly. Super friendly team working here who sat us despite there only being 5 minutes left of service. Definitely would come back again.

The staff are brilliant i visit about 4 or more times a year. It is worthwhile trip off the A30 so not far for good food. Once I arrived late to be told it was closed but very friendly said if we only wanted sausage and chips it was OK. they still went out there way to make us coffee. Overy the many years have never had a duff experience.

Some of the best fish and chips I can remember having. The key being really fresh fish and nice light batter. Being a proud home cook I never give out 5 stars to restaurants because they so often disappoint. This fish and chip restaurant got me thinking about it! The fish really was that good. Chips could have been slightly crispier and the service was slow which means a good four stars instead. Worth noting... we ate in and there is wine on the drinks menu and lovely local cornish ice cream.
