Oakwood Church Recording Studios

I attended Oakwood Studio on 14th August 2017 - I had an original track to record - One that my late father had written about my mum when they were courting. I came across this studio on Facebook. The studio is a former church in the village of Cwmafan, Port Talbot where I grew up. Turns out I, and half of my family were christened here many moons ago and my grandparents were married here. I had to give it a go! Being a 'Novice' musician I was a little nervous about the session however Nick quickly put me at ease with a cracking cup of tea and his patience and expertise. We had a working draft by mid morning and by the end of the session I had a complete recording! In one day! I thoroughly enjoyed my session and am planning a return in the autumn with the rest of my band. The song turned out great too! Thank you so much Nick, really appreciate what you've done for me, Gareth
