Excellent service today at the optic shop, Port Talbot. Phoned to see when their next available appointment was and lucky to have one that afternoon. As I was a new customer the optician gave me a thorough eye test and then left me in no rush to choose glasses along with the receptionist/assistant. My prescription lenses were in stock so no waiting days for my glasses, and returned half an hour later to pick up my new 2for1 glasses. A gentleman made sure my glasses fitted properly before I left the shop and all the staff from the optician, receptionist and the lads dealing with the lens and glasses were friendly, poliete, professional and helpful. This will be my new opticians from now.

Outstanding service On entering the shop, which is tucked around the corner of Tesco, opposite the post office, there was a really nice warm welcoming atmosphere. Made my appointment with a very polite young lady and then went through to have my test. Got to say the eye test I had from the optician(Carole) was the most thorough eye test I have ever had.(not like the other multinational opticians that I have tried in the past, where they get you in and out as fast as possible. After the test I was shown a wide variety of glasses from which to choose, and they didn’t rush me into making a decision. Plenty of staff on hand to help you make an informed decision. There was such a selection of glasses from which to choose from, that I took advantage of their 2for1 offer and also had a pair of sunglasses. Within 2 days they were phoning to say my glasses were ready to collect. When I went to collect them a very helpful man (Chris I think) ensured they were fitted correctly. From booking the appointment to collecting my 2 pairs of glasses the whole process was first class quality. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be returning in the future.
Excellent service, brought my prescription glasses home and hated them. Rang the shop and they told me to take them back in to see if they could help. The are currently giving me an exchange and making new lenses for my new glasses with no added cost. They have been so patient and helpful. Would recommend and purchase from again.
Possibly the worst opticions in South Wales possibly even the whole of the UK. Three years ago I had the misfortune to order two sets of glasses from them. An order they completely messed up. Friday June 8th 2018, I decided to give them another chance, Wed 13/6/2018 went to collect them and guess what? Yep! They screwed up AGAIN. Couldn't even see properly out of one pair? NEVER, NEVER will I repeat my mistake and will in future give them the biggest swerve. I suggest, (unless you want the same type of grief), you also give them a BIG swerve.
