I’ve never been spoken to by any hospitality staff in the way I was spoken to by Greg, a worker at the rsl. Yelled at me upon arrival asking if I had checked in while I was standing outside waiting for a friend before entering. I’m not sure why he was so aggressive but I explained to him that I will definitely check in I’m just waiting for the rest of my party to arrive who were seconds away. Upon entering he came up to me yelling at me to check in, I explained to him I had to which he replied aggressively show me! So I did. I noticed it he has not asked anyone else who has walked in just targeted me for some reason. Perhaps it was the colour of the skin of my friends. I hope it wasn’t racism but the way we were treated compared to others when we were polite and doing exactly what we were asked to do despite his rudeness. I’ll never go there again. So unnecessary and it ruined my weekend.

This RSL is a small sub branch. There is no open bistro and gaming facilities like the big branches. Bingo, OP shop, bar and services only open at specified times. See photos for more info. Wheelchair parking on site.
A growing RSL that provides a range of services to returned military personnel as well as social activities for the local community. A great place for a quiet beer and a catch up on a Friday evening.
