We love Aldi and spend thousands in its stores every year. Black mark today, though. We'd filled out trolley and arrived at the checkout, only to be reprimanded by the till lady for not shopping alone. If this is now store policy then somebody should put a sign up but, just a minute... this isn't going to stop the spread of covid. Clearly it's a profitability issue, which is absolutely fine and I understand that. But at the time we were shopping, the store was almost empty. Shame on you, Mr Manager.

Good fresh produce if you get in early. Great location and big car park. I don't like the skeleton staff system as you are always likely to be queuing to pay for your goods. The receipts aren't too good either as if you return a good and it's gone down in price between you buying it and returning it they will try give you the reduced price. The receipts do not have a bar code on for them to scan, it's a very basic system. The store won't offer 12 months warranty, I believe they give 30 days then any problems you have to go to the manufacturer which is exhausting. You need a pound coin for the trolley.
