My laptop had a fan noise problem, when I took it in initially very effort was made to establish if the fan just needed cleaning so this was done and seemed to have fixed the issue at no charge :-) Sadly the issue persisted so a new part was ordered I was advised when to drop the laptop for repair how long it would take and when to collect. I would not hesitate to recommend as my concerns regarding being without my laptop for work were listened too, timescales met, charge very reasonable and staff extremely helpful, I wish more places gave this level of service.

While on holiday, my laptop suddenly wouldn't start up. Black screen, not able to log in. Within 20 minutes and a process of elimination, my laptop was up and running again. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not there to rip you off only to help and advise. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

In the last month my Computer started to cut out for no apparent reason. I spoke to my IT people and was advised to upgrade which would have cost me about 700.I telephoned the team at Porthmadog Computers and they told me to pop my computer into them. It really was a team effort at Porthmadog Computers ,they suspected it was overheating and showed me the fan which was covered in dust. They spent about 45 minutes cleaning it and testing it after which Gareth said I hope we don t see you again ,I think its OK now but if you have any more problems come back to us, they didn't charge me anything. Apart from their generosity they were very obliging , willing to help a complete stranger, they couldn't have been nicer Oliver
