Mr Ellis is a pleasure to deal with. He has a strong reputation on the watch forums as a specialist in old Russian watches like Vostok, Rateka and Poljot as he has been a Sekonda dealer for 40 years and they used to use Russian movements. These movements with regulation and tlc are very tough and accurate and I duly contacted Mr Ellis to service and regulate some Russian watches that I had bought both old and new (I am a modest collector) that needed a fettle. Both jobs were carried out to an extremely high standard with the watches keeping time as well as my Swiss watches in other words they are now spot on.The charges for the work were extremely reasonable and Mr Ellis seems a very nice man. I am in Kent so dealt with him on the phone but I wm sure he is lovely in person too. I would gladly trust my expensive watches with him too and he will be my watchmaker of choice from now on: an old fashioned, honest craftsman providing excellent service: thoroughly recommended.
