It's overcrowded. It rarely has more than a couple of cashiers at the checkout tills and the selection of goods of any kind is relatively small in comparison to other supermarket outlets in the area including it's main branch in the centre of Portimao. It's expensive compared to others but of good quality. Avoid the CTT counter at this Continente branch like the plague unless you have lots and lots of time to waste. In my last visit there was a woman in front of me and others in the queue which rolled up to the CTT counter with THREE supermarket big trolleys overfilled with packages to post to all sorts of destinations. She should, of course, have been referred to a proper CTT post office outlet (where there are multiple counters to serve customers) since the CTT counter at the supermarkets are supposed to be for quick transactions but she wasn't and the queue of people waiting was huge.
