Above average but not quite what I was expecting after hearing so many good things. I’m aware my visit was a bit different due to covid (was outdoors in a tent with a smaller menu) but I feel that there are still better options for seafood in Portland. The big disappointment was that they were out of clams, not sure how that happens? The oysters were great (local oysters here in Maine always are) and sorta the saving grace of the experience...

We had to wait an extremely long time to get seated, which wasn’t a huge issue since we put our names down and then walked around. Their drinks were great and the food was good, but not sure if it’s any different than any of the other restaurants in Portland. I did love their take on the lobster roll!

Hands down, favorite eatery in Portland. The lobster roll is a MUST and so unique from anything I’ve ever had. The crab roll is also incredible. You really can’t go wrong here! But make sure you put your name in early because waits can be up to 3 hours!! And no reservations. But plenty of great places to grab a brew nearby while you wait for your res.

Curbside pick-up at Eventide couldn’t be more safe or easier. Words cannot express the happiness I feel being able to get a brown butter lobster roll to go during this nightmare of a pandemic. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

Worth the wait. This place always has a line because it's always a good time. Incredibly fresh seafood because they have great relationships with the local oyster farms and fish markets. They put their own spin on things without breaking the mold or resorting to fusion. Good wine list fantastic cocktails really nice social distance outdoor area. Nice spot for a date or one family comes to town.
