This Italian gem is highly regarded in Portland due to the efforts of its fantastic chef. And the praise is well earned. Everything was wonderfully cooked and the servers were so attentive. The interior was beautiful and the restaurant as a whole is just perfect for a date night treat or if you want to impress visiting family or friends. The standout, hands down, would have to be the radiatori. On the surface, it is perfect for the non-adventurous eater: fancy noodles and meat sauce. But in truth, it is one of the tastiest things I had ever eaten.

Our first visit and we were able to be seated at the bar, which we often prefer. The service was wonderful. We asked for - and were cheerfully served - tastes of several wines before choosing. The pizza was superb; the salads excellent and the bean side dish was perfect for a February evening.

Had a wonderful dinner at Nostrana recently. The staff was incredibly helpful and food wonderful. They currently have a distanced service policy where you order on your device, they serve the food and drinks to a staging table next to your dining table, and answer any questions at a nearby service station with social distancing barriers. This is all under a tent in their parking lot that is transformed into a great indoor/outdoor space. It was incredibly thought out and made you feel really comfortable, cared for and protected. They are doing a great job adapting!

Staff were phenomenal. Food was good, but I wouldn't rate it 5 stars. Certain things on the menu were off the chart wonderful and others too fussy. It was kind of uncomfortable in the chairs and the sun made it hot inside. I probably would try another place before coming back. Again, it wasn't bad just not as good as it was hyped to be, but the staff went above and beyond.
