We had a wonderful Fado concert from Ideal Clube de Fado in atmospheric Galerias Paris in Porto. The musicians played real Fado for an authentic experience. Zipping from our glass of port wine we enjoyed how the guitars and singer moved us with several emotions. Highly recommended!

The location provided an amazing backdrop for a Fado show that really blew my mind. The musicians and the singer were obviously experienced professionals and even though I don’t speak Portuguese, I could understand every emotion. Paired with a glass of wine the ideal way to listen to Fado without needing to buy overpriced food. Also, all measures die Corona were met and I felt perfectly safe - tables were placed sparsely and even the musicians wore masks (not the singer, of course).

This was my second Fado concert in 3 days. The first being in Coimbra. However, tonight's concert I liked by far the best. The singer was just great, I really loved her. And together with the two guitar players, they were really good. I'd love to hear them play again some time, when I come again to Porto.

The music that will touch your heart even if you don't understand Portuguese language. Something that will make you closer to Portuguese rich culture. It is a performance full of expression and emotions. Outstanding musicians. Complimentary portwein was very tasty.

I highly recommend seeing this show! The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming and the show was incredible. I enjoyed learning about Fado and appreciated the openness and friendliness of the 3 performers. I was moved by the passion of the singer and enchanted by the combination of traditional guitar and Portuguese guitar.

Fado at Ideal Clube de Fado was a magic experience. The band was amazing, the they were we could really feel through them what traditional Fado is about! It's a highly recommend experience for everyone who wants to get to know Portugal a little bit better than only through seeing typical touristic attractions.

As my first time in Porto, I was really looking for an authentic Fado experience and Ideal Clube de Fado did meet my expectations! Set in a very quirky and cosy bar, we could enjoy an introduction to the different types of Fado, with short demonstrations too, followed by 1-hour concert (that felt like a private one!) and a complimentary glass of Porto wine. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, I really recommend it! Keep it up, guys!

Perfect evening! The fado performers introduced their material and explained the history and nuances of each song. The musicians were uniformly excellent and were superb cultural ambassadors. The setting was perfect, with good acoustics and comfortable seating. Glasses of port or sparkling wine were offered to the audience before the show.
