the best place for foreigners staying for a long time in Porto !!! After searching the Porto Public Library, I got to know it through a blog information. It was built in 1833, and is said to have been a monastery building in the past. There is an open reading room for everyone on the second floor. As a foreigner, I just went in. It's an open table shared by 46 users, but I did my personal work with the laptop I took. Good points : 1) Openness. 2) Soft, old and pretty structures. There are also squares on the inside. 3) Coffee machine. If there was a cafe, it would be the best place for a foreigner.

It's a historical library. But it is really cold. You need to double clothes to sit for a few hours.Unfortunately, hence it is not suitable to study.
A library that doesn’t function as a library. A testament to the parasitic nature of pseudo-academia.
Staff were extremely unfriendly. I sat down in a chair and the staff waved her finger at me and clicked her tongue. She then escorted me out of the room and waved me into another much less pleasant space. I asked the staff at this desk what I did wrong and she said the first room was only for books, so I couldn't study there...I'm sure there was a language gap, which is my fault not hers, but no one wanted to help me understand what was going on. They all just seemed to want me out...so I left shortly after sitting down...
