If you visit Oporto, you MUST visit this beautiful museum about Infante Don Henrique 'The Navigator' and the exposition about the Liberal Revolution of 1820. The museum is located in the old King's warehouse. Don't miss this place.

The Casa do Infante (Prince’s House) is an important landmark in Porto. First established in 1325, it was given this name after Prince Henry the Navigator was born here in 1394. Prince Henry was an important figure during the Age of Discovery.
Excellent museum showing the history of the building (mint, custom house) with raised walk walks over the exposed archeological runs. There is a history of Portuguese exploration as well that is very nicely presented using some innovative displays.
Worth a visit. The reconstruction of the medieval city with interactive explanations is by itself worth the 2.20 euro entrance. Some other parts of the museums are however a bit boring and do not seem to have a unified theme.
Top.
Informative, high-tech museum, thoroughly documented and well presented through interactive displays. The staff at the reception was welcoming and enthusiastic. We appreciated the experience, it's definitely a worthwhile museum!
The place is about the history of Porto as the center of Portuguese trade and the beginning of navigating the unknown world. I went there on Sunday and it was entrance free.
Free on the weekends. I liked the section on Brazil!
