Very nice, modern hostel in a good location in Porto (10 minutes walk to the train station and most of the main sites). The shower was very large and was only shared between my (private) room and another private room. Had an enjoyable evening of roasted chestnuts and liqueur also while there. Staff was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The only very slight negative is that noise transfers between the rooms and floors very easily. I could hear every step my neighbor took. This is, however, very common in older European buildings, which is why I always travel with earplugs anyway. As long as you don't have inconsiderate neighbors, it shouldn't be a problem.

There are some good and bad things to say, which I'll mention afterwards, BUT unfortunately has BEDBUGS. I stayed at the female dorms and woke up covered by bites. The manager said that it never happened before, which is not true considering the other references written here, and considering the feedback that I've got from other staff members. I gave them a chance with another bed, but got bitten again. I wish I've read the feedback about bedbugs before choosing this hostel. There are other great hostels close to the city center, where i stayed longer afterwards. Just that you can understand the time frames: Swelling of the eyelid - about 2 days looking as a monster Intensive itching about 3-4 days Marks on the skin - still on me a week after it happened! And it will take longer to be gone. Advantages of the hostel: great location, nice breakfast, nice rooms, nice staff. Disadvantages: bed bugs, when walking in the rooms there is a lot of noise from the floor. Difficult to find a private place to change at the shower. Need to bring your own coffee or tea or pay for it when not at breakfast time.
Just checked in but the staff are super friendly with lots of local information. Amazing location! Staying in an 8 bed female dorm and from what I've seen so far, it's immaculate and very cosy..
BEDBUGS!!! Complete infestation. Do not stay here. I managed one night and then was awoken by another girl in my dorm room who was upset. Looked at her mattress and it was COMPLETELY covered in bedbugs, I've never seen anything like it. They were everywhere. I've just spent a full day of my holiday in the laundrette in Porto getting all of my clothes washed and dried. Found at least 4 of them on my clothes and a further 6 in my bed. Left the hostel at 2am to move to another hostel and when I complained about the infestation, they said they already knew about it as a girl has already left due to it. Why they let any new guests stay is beyond me. I wasn't offered a refund, instead they just moved me to a new hostel. I emailed to complain and get a refund which is the absolute least I would expect and received such a snarky, passive aggressive response claiming that I may have brought them in. Insulting considering I came straight from my home to the hostel, and my home absolutely does not have bed bugs, not even considering the sheer scale of the infestation is impossible for me to create in 1 day. There are plenty of nicer hostels in Porto that aren't completely infested and who don't accuse you when you try to complain.
The patio outside is used until late by drunken and noisy guests
The bed did not sewn that clean, the staff were ok, not the real hostel vibe that you’d expect. The room itself was not that clean either. Overall I’d suggest it if it’s just one night only and you’re not that sensitive to noise and cleanness.
Loved it here . Amazing staff, great and clean facilities, super location ...I will be back.
Very nice hostel, i found its modern interior very nice. The breakfast was good, overall had an amazing stay here.
