An elegant tasting room with a range of ports to suit your budget, starting at 3 for 10. The personal explanation on port types and production was so interesting. A surprise was the lovely garden, the restaurant, the HUGE “bottle”. Port barrels and an impressive collection of models of old sailing ships was fascinating. For a quieter, more personal visit to a port “cave” this is the place.

In addition to the excellent port wine, you can make a short walk in the garden.

Nice place to have a short visit and taste of the Port wines. Nothing much special, but easy and quick!

It's undergoing building work, should be good when completed. The staff on port wine tasting were very helpful.

Nice Quinta with exchibition of old warships. Nice little park. Prices are not cheap. If you have time visit it to see different winery than on river bank.

Very pleasant! visit to the grounds free, wine tasting at reasonable prices. Models of historical ships interesting for \kids\ of all ages! Excellent explanations from Carina, with a smile! Adjacent to 5-star hotel.

A free trip around the winery courtesy of our 2 day City Bus tickets was a great addition to our holiday. It is a beautiful location boasting a colossal metal bottle (quite impressive) that can be used for social and business wine tastings/meetings. It would have received 5 stars but there was a slight feel of neglect to the gardens probably due to the extensive building works they have going on in order to build a hotel as an extra part to the business - which will be fantastic when done. A free taster of one of their ports (We tried the white and it was amazing) just finishes the trip off nicely. Looking forward to visiting again when the building work is done!
