Great takeaway service during Covid and tasty pizzas.

Excellent Covid restrictions and prevention in place. Being a regular customer I can appreciate how much effort has been put in to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all, Oh and the food is excellent. Having the festive Turkey & Ham, honestly blew me away with this version far from traditional flavours. Six stars!!!!

Views are good service was terrible. Our starters arrived before our drinks, the tables either side of us who arrived after us got their food first & they ordered steaks also. You have to pay extra for sides which was a rip off. The side salad was trying to be ‘different’ but consisted of dried up ingredients which had be sat for too long. The garlic bread was re-heated. I will admit the nachos were good. Table bookings were shouted down a microphone & the music was too loud for a restaurant. Some staff had masks, some did not & the food left on tables was ‘cleaned’ onto the floor. No wonder they had a rat problem (my husband only told me this when we were on our way home). It was obvious who management were but they need retraining into how to provide an enjoyable experience. They guy taking our card payment asked was everything ok, we replied the service was terrible to which he replied “sorry about that MATE”. We are in 2 other restaurants in Portrush over the weekend and they were miles better. I hope you’re reading this Ramore, establishments of your kind do not charge for sides and it was obvious you were cramming as many punters in as possible to make a quick buck. Shame really.

Ended up in the Wine Bar because Tourist was closed (the website said it open). Had planned on one of their great pizzas but given the menu ended up with the bacon cheeseburger. Another reviewer described it perfectly as a ‘glorified McDonalds’ and that is exactly what it is. Average at best, 2 tiny burger patties and a couple of slices of processed cheese and a slice of poor bacon and all for a rather ridiculous price of 8 without a side. Given the quality of the burger at 8 it should absolutely come with a side. Everything isn’t bad though, the Staff are all friendly and the Covid 19 set up is good. The ordering and menu system is great. But all these things don’t change the fact that the food is average at best and overpriced.

Always great food! Good social distance and using app to order and pay was very easy.
