Having spent quite a while searching for a specific car, we eventually saw the right one on Auto Trader. Described as immaculate, we thought we'd travel along the coast from Worthing to see it. We didn't expect the car to actually be immaculate, but immaculate it was! The staff there were knowledgeable and patient with us as we asked about a million questions, looked at a number of different cars as well, but eventually, we decided we would go for it. They listened to our budget, gave a very fair price on our current car that we were part exchanging and we struck a deal! As the car didn't have any tax, and I'd agreed to tax it myself, they drove us down to the local post office (which was open on a Sunday!) and we were able to get the tax sorted. It was also no problem to print out my insurance certificate that I was able to arrange over the phone whilst we completed other bits of paper work. As the car came with a 3 month warranty, the next morning the details were all emailed over to me and since then, all questions have been answered quickly and efficiently. Overall, I would recommend Cars of Portsmouth to anyone as I found them to fair, honest and helpful throughout our dealing with them! I am really glad that we made the effort to drive down to Portsmouth on that windy Sunday morning! Thanks!

Buying my car from Cars of Portsmouth has been an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Giles, the owner and salesman is a very polite guy, very welcoming and is far from the pushy, semi-scripted salesmen you expect. Helped me with all of my questions, made the process very smooth and stress free. The i40 I wanted had one single thing wrong that I could see, an alloy centre cap, this was replaced with a new one without me even mentioning. Car was serviced, MOT'd and fully cleaned when I arrived to collect. Absolutely over the moon with my experience and cannot thank Giles enough, I'm so pleased with my new i40.
