Shameful behavior from The Student Housing Company. During this third lock down, Catherine House has refused to compensate any of us in any shape or form (which happened last year as well). While I know we are not necessarily entitled to our money back, most other accommodations and universities have realized the unfairness in the fact that we have paid thousands of pounds to stay somewhere that we can no longer go and have offered some support and understanding. Catherine House, however, much like last year, has shown that it only cares about money rather than the people they are housing and have held onto every single penny. Do not stay here, at least during the pandemic, because they cannot be trusted to be decent human beings during these unprecedented times, and they will steal your money off you. It's not worth the slightly nicer rooms if you're just paying them to sit at home.

Quite good but the kitchen has nothing at all empty items to use for heating or even frying eggs- or making tea at all. So strange the kitchen is new for nothing . Thank any way. It was safe and clean .

I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to be completely ripped off. The government have told students not to return to university but Catherine House are still making us pay FULL rent even know that ALL communal areas are closed. We have been sending lots of emails regarding reduction of rent but have all been recieving the same generic email. ALL the other student accommodations have received a partial refund but not Catherine House students as all they care about is trying to make the most money. People on the front desk are rude and uninviting. The rooms all TINY and very hot with windows that only open a crack. The TVs in the kitchens do not work, our heating in our kitchen does not work. One of my flatmates locks on her door does not work. the shower drains block almost every week so unless you want to be forking out on drain unblocked every week do not stay here.

Just don't stay here save yourself the trouble. Unhelpful. Uncooperative. Trash. Enough said. Only helpful when they want more money off you. KekW

Stayed in their Portsmouth property for one night. Brand new building right next to Portsmouth and South sea station. I had 3rd floor room and stayed on a Saturday night but sound insulation was very poor and you could hear traffic and crowd coming out of centre of Portsmouth until about 4am. Rooms are good and comfortable with own shower. Communal kitchen only has a kettle and a mug and also has TV room.
