James is super reliable, his work ethic and practice are second to none. He has been looking after my boat at Ocean village for a couple of years now for anti fouling and teak floor maintenance alongside annual compound & polishing and regular monthly washing. We decided to ask James from JDK to do a full valet (clean, compound, wax, teak refurbishment) of our Nordhavn 72 based on recommendations from other Nordhavn owners. Despite very difficult circumstances due to other messy work that was being done to the boat, James was EXTREMELY flexible and understanding - well beyond the call of duty. Your boat is in good hands with JDK Marine. Having done a bit of research into the various firms doing boat detailing I first contacted James to help keep our motor boat clean. James was quick to respond and his communication has been excellent all along. He did an excellent job - the boat was immaculate afterwards - and he sent plenty of images to show what he had done and he charged a fair and reasonable price for his work. Recently he prepared and antifouled our boat during its annual refit and did a cracking job at that too. It's good to have someone you can trust and I'm looking forward to him taking care of our boat in the coming months and years.

Absolutely fantastic experience with James from JDK Marine. James did an exceptional job cleaning and polishing the topsides of our Moody 46. The end result was gleaming. He took a lot of time to talk to us about the best cleaning & polishing products and techniques to use on our boat longer term whilst we are away cruising - incredibly knowledgable and a great coach. He even stayed an extra hour to help us fix new decals on. James went over and above expectations. We would absolutely recommend his services.

Due to the many travel restrictions this winter we realised that preparing and antifouling our boat ready for relaunch in March was going to be fraught with difficulty. On a recommendation I contacted James at JDK Marine, and arranged for the work to be done. I have to say it was one of my better boating decisions(saving me numerous Physiotherapy appointments for a bad back). James' quality of work and attention to detail was fantastic and the completed job was first class. I asked James to compound and polish the hull, once again a top class job. James asked for the time and date of our relaunch and arrived with the boat in the slings to antifoul where we had been cradled over winter. I would have no hesitation in recommending JDK for their quality of work. Their professional, friendly and efficient operation is one of the best I have encountered. Well done James!

James undertook an amazing valeting of my Nimbus 305. This included washing and polishing the boat along with preparing and antifouling the hull. I was kept totally abreast of the whole process with photographs and videos.
