Enjoyed a fantastic family meal, on our first time trip to Portsmouth. Tasty food, generous portions, reasonable prices. Great customer service and super friendly staff. Thank you :)

The Burger was ok, but oh God do not order extra mushrooms. The thing they call \glazed mushroom\ was a singular, fist big something that looked like a smoker lung or a brain tumour. It literally was bigger than the beef itself and had a diameter of approximately that of the buns. It ruined the entire burger. As a mushroom fan I was very disappointed and decided to just take it off and leave it be. So if you like your life follow my advise. I don't know if they changed this issue yet because I was there in May 2019 but I would not take any risks with this. Everything else was fine though.

For anyone in the area, this restaurant is fantastic. The people who run it are great, the food portions are massive for what you pay (I've paid a lot more for a lot less, looking at you FIVE GUYS Cambridge) and it tastes great. I'm a little annoyed at myself for not taking any photo's but I believe the others do it justice.

Food was lovely however we went during the eat out to help out scheme. I ordered and then saw that I was charged full price. I queried this with the person who served me and they said we had to quote the scheme and then pay separately for each person if we wanted to use the scheme and get the discount. Every place I have been to during that period applied it automatically. Was quite annoyed as I felt cheated. It was really upsetting considering the food was great and the other waiter was so lovely and polite. But I won't be returning.
