Great store. My wife and I liked going here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Stock was well laid out and easy to walk round lift handy to two more floors. Pity it had to close.
Only visited the food Hall section. Some lovely items in here. Staff didn't seem overly helpful as I expected at the self service tills. Seemed occupied clock watching or looking away from tills. Only one person on till for 3 customers waiting. Expect bit more from staff in Marks. But food available and unusual items all looked good. Some good offers too
A bit uninspiring clothes. It is quite jumbled up and I lose the will to look at clothes. They are not as good as they once were but the price is still relatively high. Food hall is small and need a wider range of gluten free food.
I have spent some time and a fair bit of money at this M&S and am devastated to hear that they are closing soon. Very sad indeed. M&S have, without doubt, chosen the WRONG location for a food store on an industrial estate, where there is an excessively bad public transport possibility. They should have chosen one of several sites in the Palmerston Road area, near up-market supermarkets and stores. Such decisions are among several that have led to the downward trend in the market for M&S.
Good place to shop but is harder to get to if you don't have a car
Well stocked with good quality products. Friendly staff and the self- checkouts are quick and easy to use.
The last four times I have shopped there in the morning. I have had to go and ask a staff member if they can come to the checkout and serve me. They say. Go to the self service till. We are all busy putting stock out in the food hall. This I will never do. I believe a customer should always be served by a staff member . So come on M & S please sort this out.
