Quaint little place with not all parts open due to Covid. Sensible and knowledgeable staff. Good display of Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle pieces plus local history as well. We stopped on route to Ferry and found this place to kill time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth a visit and parking on street directly outside it.

This place was very interesting although it is very small. I enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes exhibit and the Game Over area is a favourite for any video game fan.

Always nice to visit, nice for a family visit or adults, they have interesting displays and entry is free. Paintings are so nice,a good way to learn about Portsmouth past. I especially loved the rooms showing how people used to live in the past. Entry is free,so nothing to complain about

What an incredibly historic and educational experience. The kids love it nearly as much as I do. Full of things to do and not expensive like most places seem to be these days. 10/10
