Staff very helpful and friendly. Under such challenging times we felt safe, which allowed us to enjoy our meal. Well done all at the Slug and lettuce. Will definitely be going back. The food was lovely. Sweet potato fries a real treat.

Superb attention to detail on Covid safety. They cleaned chairs as well as tables after each customer and had other sensible/meaningful but reasonable rules. Food & drinks normal good standard.
Called in for breakfast while on a shopping trip! Food was quick, tasty and hot! Service was also very good. Social distancing etc... well managed.
Very friendly staff. Really nice food. I expected it to be expensive. But I'd pay what I saw in the menu, at most restaurants. Right on the end of quay. The only downside from eating outside, was that people were smoking. As its outside, I'm sure it's fine. But only downside.
There is 1 table outside at the corner just under where bird drops which has been given to us. Your staff members are aware about that and accepted this while talking to them. But, no one from them cares to not allocate the place. You guys just simply ruined our evening because we left the food and drink after this incident. Also, my newly purchased jacket which your staff member tried to clean, appreciate that!
Girls at the door were very polite & helpful. Pretty windy sitting outside so hold on to your glass & menu. Fast service with no complaints from me. Well done getting the place up & going again
There was four of us in the group and we sat outside for drinks before we ordered food but unfortunately it became too hot due to the large umbrellas were not allowed to be raised which was odd as every other bar had them raised. After our drinks we asked if we could move inside but was told by our waiter to ask the hosting team. When I asked I was told that we could not move and I explained that new clients could have an inside table and why can we not move? I was basically told that is how it is so I said we would pay and go to another bar. We went to the Fullers pub where the staff had the social distancing sorted, far friendlier and a much better place....thanks Slug and Lettuce you did us a favour
