A family pub that has managed social distancing well. It felt normal. That's all you can ask. Service was lovely and prices were reasonable with a great selection of food and drink. For me it still had that lovely local feel while still adhering to new protocols. Highly recommended

Patrons Beware! This time last year inside this establishment I was accosted by the young fellow in the picture below, who proceeded to knock my pint of Koppaberg onto the floor and run away; he may have become fatter since this photo was taken. Other than that, delicious food, Yum Yum .
Aaron was a lovely server and Toni was great behind the till, really helped me when some food was unavailable to get the best meal for me. I was seated quickly and was happy to see the track and trace being enforced rigorously at the front door. The packet mayo is terrible though, too eggy. Wish we could go becaise to heinz.
Very good service with clear instructions on current regulations. Staff prefer you to download app and order at your table but could also order from them if no smart phone. They have the NHS QR code to track and trace
I was so excited for the veggie sausages and mash option since I was starving and honestly... I was swallowing the food without breathing just because the food tasted so bad but I had already paid for it and I didn't want to cause a scene. I definitely am not coming back again, also because it's below freezing here! So disappointed.
