I've ordered a king size bed from the Oak Bed Store. The company that delivered the bed wasn't very profession and the bed arrived with a few damages but the OBS staff dealt with it very well and provided very good support which I think differentiates them from other online providers. The bed is a very good quality but I am knocking off one star because the ottoman bed that I have ordered doesn't have a proper 'floor' instead it has a piece of PVC to cover the carper. The bed was 460 so I expected it to have a proper build in bottom base. Also, they could improve the design of the handle, with a heavy mattress like mine you can easily lose your fingers when you're not careful and I ended up ordering a fabric strap that I can attach to the metal handle to support closing/opening.

I purchased the Chester ottoman king size bed and the two bedside draws to match. ( I pre ordered the draws as they had originally been out of stock ) The communication and customer service team are so helpful and responsive. The bed and draws are lovely! I love the warm colour of them , they are slightly darker than I expected but really nice. Delivery was well communicated large items always take a bit longer. There is only a single bit of ply wood for the base, which is absolutely fine and serves the purpose. The rest of the bed is a nice solid wood. ( if you look online all other wood ottoman beds are around 500-800 ) and the bed was 360! So for me the ply wood is not a problem. It lifts up and down perfectly and securely! Thank you.

Happy with my king size Royal Ascot Oak Storage Bed Frame. I assembled it myself within 2 hours and is solid. Delivery was straightforward. The packages were placed in the garage by Furdeco 2 man delivery. Customer service is great. Queries were resolved very quickly albeit it was confusing to use the offline chat. Not planning to buy another bed but will certainly recommend The Oak Bed Store.

Very disappointed with this company. The bed looks nice but it is not solid oak and I spent a lot of money on the mattress which is the worst thing I have ever slept on. I read all the reviews on their website to select the right mattress and this one had only 4 and 5 stars. I have also left a review for this mattress but seemingly only 4 and 5 star reviews make it on to their website - awful!! As you are not allowed to return the mattress once it is open and it arrived rolled it is impossible to tell what it is like until you open the packaging and then you can't return it. I contacted them with no response. So disappointed I saved up for ages to buy my first ever brand new bed as have always had second hand before and whilst the bed is ok, the mattress has made my husband's bad back worse and made mine start to ache but I now can't afford a new one.

No issues at all simple to Build High quality , would buy again . Brought off line .. very slow processing.. but very satisfied
