Seriously? I do not understand why I keep getting an attitude every time I call this place. I was referred for jaw surgery and needed to verify it was necessary. Quote was over 7k and of course all up front out of pocket. They even charged me full price for things my insurance covered. Decided to get a second opinion and was told there was absolutely no need for surgery. If that doesn’t sound money hungry I don’t know what does. Then comes the bill for the consultation. I paid 75 out of pocket (their online form states that’s the price for consultation) come to find out my insurance is saying I owe them another 97? If I am paying out of pocket for consultation why is it even being claimed? Again, I call to verify and more attitude from the front desk plus they hung up on me when “transferring to billing”. What a joke! Plenty of great oral surgeons in NoVa, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I am a Senior from out of state visiting my daughter, Courtney in Virginia. One of my molars became abscessed and needed to be extracted. I made an appointment with Potomac Surgical Arts. I was given an appointment immediately and Dr. Craig Vigliante extracted my tooth. The office staff was very courteous and the doctor was gentle as he could be to remove a very difficult tooth. I came here because I was referred by my dentist. I had severe pain because of my wisdom teeth. Checking in was super simple. The wait wasn’t long at all. I met with Dr. Dustin Bowler. He was fabulous. I felt very comfortable with him; he was charming, friendly, and seemed super excited to be there. He was very thorough explaining my x-rays and my next steps. After he left, something happened that I didn’t like so I ended up leaving without scheduling my surgery. I received a call from Dr. Bowler himself same day following-up since he didn’t see me on the schedule. I appreciated his genuine concern for my pain so I explained to him what happened. He was very empathetic and validated my feelings and there was absolutely no hesitation. He called me back the next day like he promised to see how I was doing and to offer a resolution. Not only was I super impressed that a busy surgeon like himself called me personally TWICE, but he remembered to call me back in a timely manner. I scheduled surgery and removed all four of my wisdom teeth. His team was so kind and helped calm my nerves by joking around with me. Dr. Bowler again was super friendly and I really felt comfortable before I was put under. Before I knew it I woke up and all four wisdom teeth were gone. Throughout my healing process when I had pain they saw me right away and I healed pretty quickly. In about two week I was back to eating normal food. I speak so highly of this practice and Dr. Bowler because they’re so amazing and really care about their patients. They love what they do and you can tell by their excitement every time they step in the room to talk to you. Thank you Dr. Bowler and team!!!

Dr V removed my child's 4 impacted wisdom teeth. He and his staff deserve 10 stars. Despite how difficult the positions were the surgery was an hour and there was little bleading. He really is the best surgeon, the staff stayed with us all the way to the car! Took lots of time to tell us after care instructions. Thanks Dr. V!

Met with Dr. Bowler to consult on a cracked tooth that needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant. He was very thorough with the details and options which made me feel much more comfortable about the procedure. During the actual tooth extraction Dr. Bowler continued describing every step of the process as it happened and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the procedure. I was nervous at first but after my procedure, I am more comfortable and relaxed about the next steps with him with the implant process.
