I recently received my renewal invite for multiple flat buildings insurance with this company. Remarkably it included a 25 ‘administration fee’, it would appear I have to pay their admin costs in order to be a customer. Furthermore the renewal quote was in excess of 25% more expensive than any other quote I managed to find. This was explained in the renewal documentation as directly due to COVID. For example, potential extended scaffolding costs as workers stayed within government guidelines – absolute nonsense. I would urge extreme caution using this company, goodness knows how they’ll behave in the event of a claim and what spurious charges they’ll come up with if they believe this is an appropriate way to treat customers.
