Lovely walks, time to time difficult in parking but genuinely all ok. Good to see some wildlife and capture some lovely moments on walks. some fantastic views!
Great place to go for a walk and the grand daughter's dog enjoyed every moment
Lovely and peaceful, great for walking the dog. Three routes marked out to follow, varying in length, none are too arduous.
Love this woods, it's always kept beautifully maintained, and great to walk around any time of year
Great little walk, could do more detailed map to the pond but it's not too difficult ;-) Wellies advised as today was very muddy!
Delightful area of woodland. No doubt this particular nature reserve will survive, but I read the other day that the adacent area (land east of Potters Bar between the M25 and Coopers Lane Road) is likely to become a high-priority one for new housing, as designated in their wisdom by the local council. Where the concept of 'Green Belt' was once a protection against development, now it seems it all has to be rethought, so individual land parcels can be sliced off, on the basis that there is no special benefit in retaining them, and what is now a pleasant rural area could well become yet more urban sprawl. Why does everything have to be ruined?
Very little parking and M25 noise but a very pleasant pair of woodlands
