Fantastic service, Spoke to Neil last week regarding my gas coal fire which had been switched off by a gas safety engineer who was sent by my insurance provider to service the fire and got nowhere, Neil gave me the name of there engineer Martin who came out on Saturday 16.01.2021 serviced the fire and was working around an hour and a half later would not hesitate to use them again hence the 5 star rating, thanks to Neil & Martin

As part of a major domestic internal building project, we visited several fireplace/ burner galleries. Hertfordshire Fireplace Gallery had a good range of display models and there was no pushy sales attempt. Having explained what we envisaged, the staff provided guidance as to where we would find those burners within the store. Staff (Anna and Neil) were very knowledgeable about their products, helpful and able to answer all questions. Unlike some places we had visited, they offered a free site visit to accurately price the supply and installation, after which we ordered our chosen fireplace. During the building works, we decided to make the newly discovered fireplace more of a feature and changed the burner we had ordered. Amending the order was done without any fuss. Installation was straight-forward and well managed and the company were flexible when installation dates had to be altered. Looking back at my paperwork, we first visited the store in July 2018 and had a site visit shortly after, but actually placed the order in June 2019 before installation in October 2019. (This was no fault of the store, but simply issues around the building work.) Through-out the process, there was excellent communication from Neil and his staff. In conclusion, we are delighted with the final product and the involvement of the Gallery has been a major factor in this. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them and (if my wife gets her way on another fireplace), will be certainly using them again.

From my initial contact with Anna when visiting the shop, through the quotation and assessment visit by Neil, through to the fitting by Tony, I have had nothing but excellent service from this company. Anna talked us through our options and ultimately we went for an electric fire which we are delighted with. A special mention for John the fitter who went above and beyond including rerouting the electrics and getting matching external bricks to fill in the old flue opening. If you're looking for a faultless one-stop shop process from selection, through ordering to fitting - look no further than Hertfordshire Fireplaces. (BTW after sales has been great too!)

They have a good selection of fireplaces but I was very disappointed when I was told they couldn't fit my fireplace for at least 4 months. That's the reason I didn't buy from this store.
