I have just had an LVL and tint and was very impressed. The decor was really sparkly and it felt very glam. It was very clean and tidy with leaflets available for other treatments. I was made to feel welcome and the owner was very professional and friendly. I will definitely return to Vanity n Varnish x

Independent salon, from which you get a friendly and personal treatment/service. It's also very clean & tidy. I have used vanity n varnish a few times for my nails and always found the it to be welcoming, the treatment long lasting.

I had LVL done here last week and what a mistake that was! So immediately after I was surprised the lashes were so clumped (maybe from the tint) but thought I'd go home and brush them through and hope for the best. Within a couple of days the lashes were so lifted and frazzled that they curled round like a backwards C and looked terrible. I messaged the lady who basically told me my lashes had lifted 'really well' and that i obviously wasn't aware what a lash lift did! I asked her if there was any way to relax the lashes and she sent me link to buy a serum on amazon however the serum said it extended the life of the lift so I said I wasn't going to use that! She then said I should wear mascara but I told her I can't because they curl all the way round to my eyelids. The whole conversation the woman seemed put out and did not offer to rectify the problem or even apologise that I was upset as my lashes are ruined just before my holiday. She ended the conversation by accusing me of shouting (in a text, can you even shout in a text??) and saying goodbye. Shocking customer service and appalling results. This was booked through Groupon so I guess you get what you pay for!

Looked so amazing but such a shame they didn't last!! I had my eyelashes done on the 8th and I was so pleased with the results! They were really well done and I felt amazing! Within 3-4 days they started to look a bit clumped together and look a bit like 'spider lashes' I haven't been wearing eye makeup at all as I was really pleased with the results so I was a bit disappointed when this happened! I used micellar water to wipe my eyes as I was told oily makeup removers would cause the lashes to fall out- the clumps of lashes began to fall out onto my cotton pad I can't include before and after pictures on here for some reason but they were so beautiful before and I'm so gutted they only lasted 5 days - and that's with me looking after them! I don't think I'd get them done again after this which is such a shame!
A very personal service which I loved. Have had LVL lashes . individual lashes as well as nails and was very pleased with all. Definatly will be visiting soon again to use my gift voucher.
