Paul, Jay, and staff are very honest, friendly, and caring. They saved me a lot of money on maintenance the dealership kept pushing on me, which they tested and showed was not necessary. They also saved me several hundred dollars on tires which last longer than the ones the dealership offered. If i have any issues, I call and check with them first and they are always available to answer my questions and help me out! Best shop ever!

Terrible customer service! I went in one day because I saw a sign for cheap oil changes and I was looking to save a little money. I was told it would be about an hour wait, so I made an appointment for the next day since I had my 8-month-old. I thought it would be faster with an appointment, but that wasn't the case. After taking my information, they told me to sit down and make myself comfortable; it was going to be a while. After 50 minutes I could still see my car in the lot and my baby was getting antsy. Not only that, but multiple people had come in after me and had their cars taken in before mine. I stood at the desk for a few minutes before the guy acknowledged that I was there so I could ask them to call me when they were done. We walked up and down the street for a while and it still wasn't done when I got back. Overall, I was there for 2 HOURS for a 20 oil change! Absolutely not worth it. I know it was just an oil change and they're a tire/repair shop, but that was ridiculous. Don't waste your time or money.
I recently took my car here for an oil change & tire rotation and I felt compelled to write a review to caution others about this business. First, if they suggest getting a card to help lower the price of the service, be forewarned it is a credit card, not a rewards card. When they slid the application across to me, there was no verbal mention of it being a credit card and he seemed to dance around the topic when I asked. I could see immediately it was a credit application. "Yes, your credit is run," was the response to my question if it was a credit card. I had to ask several different ways before he acknowledged it was a credit card. The service itself was fine as far as I can tell. It took an hour and 15 minutes as promised, and the mechanic kindly showed me how to reset my scheduled service through my dashboard, which was helpful. I was willing to look past the credit card misunderstanding until I was driving on the freeway yesterday and noticed the HOOD OF MY CAR WASN'T LATCHED! I pulled over and properly closed it before it flipped open on me and killed me and my child on the highway. I guess you get what you pay for.
First time being here, and I am very impressed with the staffs great service. The manager took care of me, made small talk with me while getting my informatiom, and did not pressure me to buy tires. I came in to get a tired get looked at. I am definitely coming back to get service and tires for my wife's and I vehicles. By far the best in Poway.S/F!
DO NOT TAKE SERVICE FROM THIS BUSINESS!! I went in for a simple tire change, they lied and said that I needed to buy a new tire for 125 from them, and thank god I didn't. But that's not the worse part, they deceivingly pulled my credit report and lowered my credit score without verbally informing me. I am filing a dispute now. Do not sign any paperwork with this company.
I LOVE Poway Express Tire! I have been going there for over 20 years. I have taken all three of my vehicles there. They have always taken good care of me and my daughter as well when she bought her first car. I constantly recommend them to my friends.
100 for a tire that popped within a month and refused to do anything about it. I am giving my business to Team Power Tires, they are worth the drive, 40 for a tire and they will replace it or refund if anything happens like they should. A new tire shouldn't pop in under a month. Their customer service is terrible, if they worked for any other company they would have already been fired.
I have always been completely satisfied with the service done at Express Tire Poway. As a mother, I have had my kids with me numerous times while waiting for a quick service and all of the staff has been friendly. They are efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I only have my services done here!
