Challenging course with several carries. Greens and traps were in impeccable shape. The fairways were in good shape too for the most part. The staff was fantastic, and the clubhouse was impressive. My one complaint was the overzealous GPS that shut down my cart a few times. This course will test you. Very unforgiving. My advise is check your machismo and move up to the teal tees. Recommend everyone give it a try but not sure it is worth the price for most of us.

This is a very beautiful and very challenging course. We played with members who graciously shared course intelligence. That made a difference. Greens are in excellent condition. Pace of play was good - finishing a weekend round in four hours. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great day.

Wonderful scenery, great layout, don’t always pull your driver out on the tee, the Marshall Gary is very helpful and friendly, highly recommend this course, one of the best in San Diego, everyone makes you feel at home, course is not for beginners

Outstanding golf course, great layout and extremely challenging undulations. Fairways and greens well maintained. Carts have GPS with extremely accurate yardage approaches. Staff, including the starter are friendly, courteous and well versed on course conditions and pace of play. Parking is plentiful and venue is easy to find via Google maps. Bar and on course beverages cart are an added bonus. Will definitely be returning to challenge the course layout.

Maderas is in fantastic shape. It is easily one of the top courses in San Diego. Played in less than 4 hours this morning. Just a great golf experience!
