I had my first fillings at 32 after avoiding the dentist for centuries! I was absolutely dreading it but knew it had to be done. I have a phobia of needles and of course I cried like a baby in the chair but my dentist, Abbas, was very understanding, full of so much empathy and kindness and reassured me every single step of the way. I have worked alongside ENT doctors in the past but have never met anyone more caring than Abbas. I am very lucky to have had this experience and I hope others do too. The whole team at Poynters Road Dental Practice are friendly and welcoming, especially the twin ladies who are extra nice to me and my little boys. I would definitely recommend Abbas as your dentist.

I recently had to have root canal treatment just before Christmas. Baring in mind this was the first time I ever had to have root canal I was extremely nervous. Dr Abbas was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. He reassured me and talked me through the whole process. Throughout the treatment he checked in on me, making sure I was in no discomfort. I did not feel a thing and also had no pain in the days after either. He did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him. I now no longer fear the dentist. Dr Abbas even phoned after to check how my tooth was. Thank you so much.

Excellent service from all staff. Very clean and fully Covid ready, all rules being followed and made myself and Son feel very safe. Managed to see my son for 3 emergency appointments. Abbas is so professional and makes you feel so at ease. Talked him though everything he was doing and making sure he was ok at all times. Even following up with telephone calls to make sure he was ok. Couldn’t thank him enough. Would recommend this practice to anyone.

Could not recommend this surgery enough. Especially Abbas Manji. As someone who has had terrible experiences with former dentists and who has been terrified to go for even a simple check up (unfortunately resulting in some heated situations) This surgery has not only made me feel so comfortable even after having to have a lot of work done, but also made me feel somewhat sad that my treatments are over (if you can believe that).
