5 stars for the true Czech experience :) I felt like I was out of town. We arrived when they served only game and my oh my, the choice was incredible. Deer, boar, muflon? You name it. Also a nice choice of beers! Obviously, the staff wasn't too polite - but we're talking about the true Czech experience ;) Other than that there was a band playing, making quite an atmosphere.
Good food and beer, a surprisingly nice dinner even if far from the city center
Good basic Czech fare at moderate prices. Avoid some of the weekend specials unless you're into highly spiced and overly cooked offal. We prefer the weekday pork dishes. Don't just stab your finger at the menu and hope for the best. At least one of the evening servers can assist English only patrons. This is NOT light fare. Come hungry and prepared for adventure.
