It's not a river beach as it states on google maps. It's a sea beach, with really good parking( paid, but nevertheless it's possible to park without paying not too far from the beach entrance). The beach club is now working as well.

Best beach in the Lisbon area. Parking is neither hard nor expensive (we paid 4 euros for 5h). The beach does not have a lot of waves, the sand is super soft and the sunset is awesome
A nice clean beach with sufficient space to keep the recommended safe distance for COVID 19, clean calm water good for kids and whoever isn't fond of rough waves. I recommend Praia Atlántica.

Amazing beach. Incredibly clear and calm water. Normally it tends to get a bit windy at around 4 PM. But it's a beautiful blue flag beach near one of the most beautiful bays In the world.
Portugal has many really nice beaches, but this is one of the best. For somewhere on the popular peninsula of Tróia, it's really peaceful and unspoilt. Pure and soft stand, crystalline waters - it's a pleasure to swim there because the waves are lapping and soft, not at all choppy despite this being an Atlantic beach, and the bay is quite shallow, so you can go far out without fear. The one inconvenience is that it lacks anything near the amount of facilities as in the north, such as showers, restaurants or shops, though there is a toilet and a little café on the beach, as well as a supermarket 15 mins away. If you take a picnic, you needn't worry. A place to really unwind and enjoy.
