This restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist and I can't rate it highly enough. True home cooking and really friendly service.

Casa De Pasto Bela Vista is an amazing place - quaint, friendly and attentive, l can picture the outside patio being a beautiful dinner spot in the summer months, but we were there in late winter. One of Pedro's special dishes is the roof tile fish dinner, which is literally a clay roofing tile filled with a delicious fish and seafood stew, we also had a Swordfish dinner. And once again, we returned to Casa De Pasto Bela Vista ( which we rarely do while travelling) to have his Steak & Pork dinners. Not only was everything cooked and presented beautifully, but it tasted amazing with generous portions. I would highly recommend a meal at Casa De Pasto Bela Vista, as you will be quite impressed with Pedro's attention to detail, and his passion for his restaurant... his wife Sandra, works hard in the kitchen with the same passion for great quality meals at surprisingly reasonable prices. (Note: Since they had no English menu yet, we went with the special, roof tile recommendation without asking the price - sometimes that is quite a gamble, but at Casa De Pasto Bela Vista, we were very pleasantly surprised by the cost) It's a little hard to find but well worth the drive...
One of the most authentic restaurants offering local food. The alcatra régionales (beef stew) was amazing, tender! Staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable
If you are looking for a delicious and traditional azores food and atmosfere you are in right place.
Tucked away but great food and plenty of wine available and not expensive at all.
Great restaurant. I recommend!
Amazing service, excellent food. One of my favorite restaurants on this island.
Best restaurant /food I had in Azores (San Miguel, Pico, Faial, Teceira)!! Really kind people, and goat dish was soooo good. Slow cooked goat was literally melting in my mouth. Not that far away from city center either so I recommend strongly to visit this place and try the goat! :-) I was bit tired of food from the restaurants at Azores after 2 weeks of travelling but this one was so good!
