First...the previous reviews are SPOT ON. We visited Praiano as a family of 4 including our 2 twenty-something year old kids in May. Rocco and Carla put on a great cooking class, yes that is true, however it really is so much more. This is a full experience of being invited to a local home of two delightful and charming people, learning how to make and enjoy a fabulous Italian meal and homemade wine (and other drinks :-), soaking in an atmosphere of a great garden with a wonderful view, enjoying a great meal and great conversation, and leaving with the feeling that you’ve made new friends. Book it....NOW!

My wife and I had the best time with Rocco and Carla. They invited us to their cozy home and taught us how to make delicious Italian pasta! They have an incredible view from their balcony. They made us feel so very comfortable in their home. We highly recommend you visit them while in Praiano. We just finished making our first home made pasta dish back in the US after learning from Rocco and Carla. We even messaged them for tips 6 months later and Rocco coached us through the whole process!
My family and I did a cooking class with Rocco and Carla and the whole experience was fantastic. They were fun and personable and amazing chefs! They both helped walk our children through the food prep. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to the Amalfi Coast. It is a truly unique experience you don't want to miss. We also bought the spaghetti guitar when we got home and have made our own pasta after their class.
Wow! Outstanding experience! My husband and I had such a great time cooking with Rocco and Carla and took a lot away from the class. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a local experience. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I will just say it was awesome and worth it! Grazie, Rocco e Carla! :)
My Honey and I enjoyed a lunch time cooking class on August 28, 2019 at the Beautiful home of Rocco & Carla! It was definitely a HIGHLIGHT of our trip!! The fresh ingredients straight from their garden made everything taste EXTRA delicious! They were very welcoming and hospitable, we felt as if we were at a friends hime. The experience has inspired me to try other cooking classes (I NEVER cook) If in the Amalfi coast I highly recommend you put this on your to do list!! You will be very happy you did so!! The fresh pasta and the red sauce were magnifico we can’t wait to make here at home and share with our friends! 10Stars!! Sylvia Alexander
Visited Rocco and Carla this past summer with a group of six. They were very accommodating to the vegetarians/vegans in our group and we made delicious stuffed eggplant for starters before moving on to some handmade vegan pasta. Wonderful experience, highly recommend!
This was an incredible experience! A highlight of my trip. Carla and Rocco hosted me in their beautiful Italian home and taught me how to make pasta which I will be trying on my own at home. They were very hospitable, welcoming and experienced having worked in a 5 star restaurant in Rome for many years. The food was beyond extraordinary and 95% grown in their own garden which they showed me. Highly recommend if you are looking for an off the beaten path experience of local Italy.
The cooking class was one of the BEST experiences we had during our recent stay in Praiano! Both Rocco and Carla had such friendly and welcoming personalities. Upon arrival, we were greeted with glasses of homemade wine and relaxing conversation. The hands-on experience included making homemade fettuccine in a delicious lemon sauce, which we ate with appetizers and dessert which were prepared by Carla. We ate dinner after Rocco showed us his family garden where all of the ingredients were gathered. We left their home feeling like family!!!
