Very pleasant Italian restaurant in the charming village of Prangins, just next the castle. Home made pasta, tasty typical Italian dishes and reasonable prices in a cosy atmosphere and with an excellent service. I would've put 4.5 if I could. The last 0.5 would be reached with a bit more extensive menu.

What a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. I went on a Sunday night, when there were very few tables, and ordered the aubergine millefeuille entree with a game ragout pasta. The server was friendly and had great timing. My only disappointment was not tasting the tiramisu on the menu, as I was too full. Very happy to have tried Cafe des Alpes.

Le lieu est charmant avec un cachet très alpin. L’accueil est chaleureux et professionnel et la cuisine est excellente. La carte bien que limitée offre un choix de produits frais, cuisinés dans l’instant. Une délicieuse cuisine italienne traditionnelle. Je recommande vraiment le café des Alpes.
