A great place to take your kids and to teach them the importance of animals in our life.

Beautiful area. Very flat and has the most british immergrants and restuarants per capita. The school farm is actually a collective of farmers and EVERYTHING is made from scratch WITH TENDER LOVING CARE and ABSOLUTELY delicious. There is an extensive petting zoo as the kids on the island don't see and touch many farm animals. The home made wine needs an extra shout out.Has won many prestigious awards around the world . Exotics like rose wine.elderberry and many many more fruites. There is a wonderful coffeeshop with a lovely roaring fire as it is high up in the mountains and oftentimes cold. The surrounding town is quaint and the view MAGNIFICENT. The area is wired for wifi so one can wild away the day in the village square and take in the view

Very enjoyable farm with friendly animals which can be mostly fed by hand. The entrance cost is 1 euro per person and 0.5 euro if you want to buy a bag with corn to feed the animals. There is a tea house by the entrance with some great infusions and home made jams that I would highly recommend especially the apple and mint jam.

Liked this very much. Lots of unusual jams that we cannot get in Canada. They sat us down with tiny toast and six different jams. We all got to try them and then purchase them if we wanted. They also had a number of herbs for sale that would be hard for us to find anywhere. They also carried a variety of liquors of things we can't get at home. But no plastic bottles which would have need better for packing in our luggage. There was a small zoo that was interesting with turtles and emu to different types of chickens a llama and more. We got to feed them and the animals were our instant friends. This is a parish that supports the local community so when we buy there, you support the locals.
