I would highly recommend Bedfords. I tried for several weeks to find a company that could take on a very difficult project on an old building. I contacted Bedfords from a recommendation in the industry and from day one they have been very professional and always on hand to help with advice throughout the project . The hard work, communication and support from Paul one of the company directors, who was key to completing the project and he is a credit to Bedfords.

He is an expert in his field and provided a highly detailed survey and advice that formed the blueprint for all of the work that followed. From that moment forward the whole process became real. He was meticulous in his detail and his approach. Always available for questions and to clarify points we did not understand. A first class experience from a first class company. Without this effort we would be floundering.

Bedfords Chartered Building Surveyors oversaw the renovation of my nephew's house in Macclesfield with superb efficiency and professional integrity. Whilst we only met their representatives at the handover of the property it was clear to us throughout the whole process that they were overseeing and supporting the other contractors who were actually carrying out the work. This attention to detail was evident right through to the end when an snagging issue was found at the property. As throughout the whole of the renovation, we were updated frequently of what had caused the problem and how it was to be resolved. The signing off of this end process was very recently and the photographs they sent us made visible the quality of the resolution of the problem. We would highly recommend this company to others seeking a quality outfit in this area of expertise.

We were introduced to Bedfords In November 2019 following a fire at our four year old home. We were obviously devastated at the loss of our home and not having had any dealings with insurance before we felt completely shattered and alien about the whole experience - then Paul Parkinson appeared. He was professional yet friendly and offered us massive support and guidance for the eleven months before a settlement was agreed with the insurance company. The fact it was such an enormous job and in Feb 2020 covid hit the Uk made the whole experience much more protracted and drawn out but we always felt Paul was supportive and focused with the incredible amount of detail he applied to the rebuild schedule. He was able to attend site and meetings when requested to progress the reinstatement as soon as was able. He demonstrated a real understanding of the job and showed a lot of empathy towards us particularly as we had built the original house ourselves so knew the actual building inside and out - literally! We would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Bedfords and particularly Paul.
